Drain Repairs & Relining across the North East

Cracked, displaced or collapsed pipes cause repeat blockages and flooding. Where possible we use no-dig relining to repair the pipe from the inside with minimal disruption, and carry out excavation repairs where a section needs replacing.

Overview

What is drain repairs & relining?

When a drain is cracked, displaced, root-damaged or collapsed, clearing it is only a temporary fix — the problem keeps returning until the pipe itself is repaired. We carry out drain repairs across Teesside and the North East using the least disruptive method that will properly solve the problem and last.

Wherever possible we use no-dig drain relining: a resin-impregnated liner is inserted into the existing pipe and cured in place, forming a strong new pipe inside the old one — with no need to dig up your garden, drive or floor. Where a section is too badly damaged to reline, we carry out targeted excavation and replacement, reinstating the ground neatly afterwards. Every repair comes with guaranteed workmanship and a clear explanation of the options before any work begins.

Good to know

Why drains fail — and how we fix them

Drains don’t usually fail overnight. Most problems are the result of age and ground movement: clay, concrete and pitch-fibre pipes become brittle and crack, joints open up as the ground settles, and tree roots exploit the smallest gap to reach the water inside. Poorly made connections from past work, heavy traffic over shallow runs, and years of scale and silt all play their part too. The tell-tale signs are repeat blockages, damp or sinkholes above the drain, and a survey that shows cracks, gaps or root masses.

Wherever the pipe is sound enough, we repair it from the inside using no-dig relining — a resin liner is cured in place to form a smooth new pipe within the old one, with no excavation. Where a section has collapsed or is too damaged to line, we excavate just that part, replace the pipe and reinstate the ground neatly. Either way you get a properly fixed drain, a clear explanation of the options first, and a guarantee on the work.

FAQs

Drain Repairs & Relining questions

What is no-dig drain relining?
A cured-in-place liner is fitted inside the existing pipe, forming a new pipe within the old one — repairing it without digging up your drive or garden.
How do I know if my drain needs repair, not just clearing?
Repeat blockages, subsidence or what a CCTV survey shows. We'll advise honestly whether a clear or a repair is the right fix.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes — our drain repairs come with guaranteed workmanship and we explain the cover before we start.
What is no-dig relining?
A cured-in-place liner forms a new pipe inside the old one, repairing cracks and leaks without excavation. It's quicker, cheaper and far less disruptive than digging up the drain.
How long does a drain repair last?
A properly relined or replaced drain can last for decades. We back our repairs with a workmanship guarantee, explained before we start.
